Target group:
Children and teens aged 7 to 17 years old.
Parents, grandparents, teachers
Other exhibitors activating in the field of child care or children education

Our Objectives:

The little ones will....
Experience the "robotic world”;
Learn the basics in Programming, Electronics, Mechanics and Robotics;
Interact with tech concepts that they can further apply in personal projects;
Make friends who share the same interests;
Learn how to implement in daily life, the acquired technical knowledge;
Experiment the joy of making / learning by doing
Interact with robots, see a real plotter, experiment with a Drawbot etc.

The adults will....
Learn the benefits of STEM education;
Learn about the situation on the labor market in the IT area (especially in Ro);
Be able to evaluate if their kid is interested in tech.

Lesson’s structure:

A lesson will last about 2 hours. The beginning of the lesson will be announced through speakers by the exhibition center representatives.
Within a day of exhibition, the lesson will be conducted in two rounds: 12:00 - 14:00 & 16:00 - 18:00. Even so, the team will be present in the exhibition area from June the 2nd to June the 5th 2016.

The lessons will include:

The presentation of the Mentors;
We will ask participants to describe “robotics” referring to the robots they know (the drawings, movies, toys, etc.);
Introduction in Robotics: definition and applicability in everyday life;
Exercise: How to make awesome projects with Makey Makey (eg. making everyday objects play music - fruit piano or drums)
Exercise: Electrostatic phenomena with balloons and straws;
Exercise: How to make an electronic circuit with conductive ink, LEDs and batteries;
Case study: Line follower and object avoider robot;
Case Study: How do we get to build robots?
