This event is part of the European Maker Week, an initiative promoted by European Commission and implemented by Maker Faire Rome in collaboration with Startup Europe. It's a celebration of makers and innovators all over Europe.

Chain Reaction, Scientific Toy, Light, Electric Circuits, 3D Printing and Programming Day

Dia da Reação em Cadeia, Brinquedo Científico, Luz, Circuitos Eléctricos, Impressão 3D e Programação

31st: Chain Reaction Day
Blow the balloon that will make the wheel spin that will push the ball that will make the rubber jump… this is a chain reaction! Now build your own, in a limitless experimentation and creation process.

1st: Scientific Toy Day
Using straws, foam, aluminium foil, old Christmas lights, strings, common batteries and other low cost materials, we suggest the construction of toys that explore and explain some scientific laws and principles, such as the Bernoulli principle or the Newton laws.

2nd: Light Day
Can we print with light? Is it possible to record light waves? What is an interference pattern? Answer these questions participating and exploring several concepts regarding light in physics and chemistry activities.

3rd: Electric Circuits Day
How do conductors and electric current work? Build electric circuits where the basic concepts of electricity are explored with plenty hands-on practice.

4th: 3D Printing Day
How to project and make a 3D print in a fast, simple and intuitive way? Participate in this activity, think of a small project and materialize your creation using our 3D printing technology.

5th: Programming Day
What is the language to program? Can I use only alphanumeric code? Can I use a symbol code? Learn with us how to program robots and more in a simple, fast and intuitive way.
